# RADIUS /1812, 1813 (UDP)

## RADIUS (Remote Access Dial In User Service) 

It provides **AAA** service like **TACACS**, but does authentication and authorization at the same time. 

It also needs a RADIUS server and client to provide AAA service for RADIUS clients.
